Thor
Thor, who is about 2 and is Faith's son, (who must have had a Collie for a sire) has a very “soft” personality. Very shy and reserved he is scared of everything….his reflection in the glass, loud noises, and most of all raised voices. We believe he must have been mistreated at some point and it takes him a while to trust and warm up to you. But when he does it will melt your heart. Initially he maintains his distance preferring to watch you from afar and after several days will gradually approach with his head down to be petted. After he is more comfortable he likes to sit by your side with his head on your knee for soft petting. He will need a quiet home and soft touch but will reward you with loving looks and cuddles. Thor loves to be outside and is about the fastest dog I’ve ever fostered. He will chase squirrels for hours and has actually caught one of them in the yard. He also loves walks but is constantly scanning the trees or sniffing through the bushes along the trail to sniff out squirrels or bunnies pulling the entire way. He loves to chase the ball but will not bring it back, instead preferring to run off with it and tear the cover off.
