To satisfy GRRALL's requirement the fence must be:
Constructed of wood (stockade, picket), metal (chain link, iron) or wooden or metal posts with heavy gauge wire;
A minimum fence height of 5', higher preferred;Lockable gate;Fenced areas directly accessible from the house are preferred.Invisible or Hidden Fence System Policy
GRRALL will not approve any type of Invisible or Hidden Fence System. This is due to the fact that there are very few dogs in our rescue program for whom this type of fencing is
appropriate.
We regret if this policy may disqualify some homes, but our first concern must be the safety of the dogs with which we have been entrusted. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Thank you for your interest in our rescue dogs! We would appreciate your answers to the following our with applications on a first come first served basis. Our adoption coordinator reviews all approved applications and contacts the applicant who best meets the individual needs of each Rescue Golden. We try to find a match that considers the best interest of the dog and those of the adopters as well. Once we have received your application, it will be reviewed, and if approved, we will contact you to schedule the require home visit. Please under stand the our rescue work is done on an all volunteer basis and we will get to your application as soon as we can.
All potential adopters are screened for suitable placement of dogs. GRRALL reserves the right to refuse placement of a dog for any reason.
